From the Founder
Why this service appeared
I have been living next to used things for many years. I work in the resource industry — a place where people bring unnecessary things and where things are given a second life instead of a landfill. In addition, I myself sell vintage on eBay. I went from "found in a box" to "sent to the buyer" thousands of times.
And each time I stumbled over the same thing. What is this thing? Who is the manufacturer, what are the years, what does the stamp mean? Does it cost five euros or one hundred and fifty? How to name the ad so that it is found, and what to write so that the buyer understands the product and does not return it after a week?
Each answer meant half an hour of searching through the auction archives and collectors' forums. Multiply that by twenty things in an evening. Many give up: write "a vase is old, beautiful", set a price at random and sell it three times cheaper — or return the item to the box, from where it one day goes to the landfill.
It always seemed to me that this is doubly offensive: a person loses money, and the thing is the future. There was no tool to close this gap. That's why I made it.
AI Seller Assistant does what I lacked: looks at photos, recognizes a thing, assesses the visible condition, offers a reasonable price range and writes an ad for a specific site in the desired language. What took half an hour now takes a minute.
Principles I follow
Honesty is more important than a beautiful number
The service shows the range and explains it, rather than issuing one spectacular number. When there is little data, he speaks directly about it — this is more useful than a sure mistake.
Defects need to be shown
A hidden chip means a refund, a dispute, and a bad review. An honestly filmed and described chip is just a slightly lower price and a satisfied buyer.
You can try it for free
Two assessments per day are available without enrollment. If the service doesn't work, you won't lose anything.
Secondary market is a good thing
Every cup, jacket, or drill sold is one thing that didn't have to be re-produced or thrown away. I like to help people sell more confidently and give things another life.
The service lives and changes: new platforms, languages and opportunities appear. If you are missing something or something is not working correctly, write to support@sellerassistant.io. I read everything.
